Welcome To Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights

The annual ‘Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights’ festival transforms the city centre with epic light features on iconic landmarks, buildings, bridges, trees, statues and throughout Merrion Square Park.

It is a festive experience like no other where people of all generations can bask in the glow of specially commissioned dynamic, colourful and imaginative light projections by leading artists throughout the city centre.

2023 Locations

The spectacle will not only revisit the crowd-favourites like Merrion Square Park, but will also introduce new installations at landmarks such as O’Connell Street, Bank of Ireland College Green, Central Plaza, and the Ha’penny Bridge.

This year’s programme will feature designs from national and international digital artists. The locations are

2. GPO (General Post Office)
3. O’Connell Street (trees and statues)
4. Custom House
5. Samuel Beckett Bridge
6. Trinity College
7. Bank of Ireland College Green
8. Central Plaza
9. Ha’Penny Bridge
10. Millennium Bridge
11. Barnardo Square and City Hall (Children’s Art Competition)
12. Mansion House
13. Merrion Square Park (From 1st Dec-22nd Dec inclusive)
