About the artist

Antanas Balvocius is a Lithuanian projection mapping specialist with extensive international experience. He has been focused on large-scale projection mapping works since 2011, building on an overall background in 3D animation and visual effects. His unique combination of technical and artistic knowledge, developed through both formal education and extensive practice, provides him with the ideal blend of expertise and creative vision essential for projection mapping.

In every project, he leverages this dual skillset to achieve exceptional realism, using 3D renders to create high-fidelity light and shadow interactions, mathematically precise viewer perspectives, and richly detailed animations. These elements are seamlessly integrated with storytelling, immersive visual composition, and synchronised video-music interplay.

About ‘Fairytale Amusement Park’

This projection invites the viewer into a Fairytale Amusement Park—a space where fantasies become reality and imagination is freed from the constraints of the real world.

The Park offers liberation from the mundane, stress, and daily routine. Here, you’re free from earthly bounds, reliving childhood dreams with boundless wonder and unadulterated freedom. The experience transforms the GPO space into a vibrant, chaotic, and unbound spectacle that reflects the limitless power of imagination and wonder.
